The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was described by his Companions, who saw him, lived with him, and knew him very well.
Here are some of the descriptions reported in authentic Hadith.
1. His Skin Color
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

Al-Bara’ ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Prophet ﷺ had a thick and full beard.
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ had very few white hairs on his head and beard.
In Sahih Al-Bukhari, it is reported that he had fewer than twenty white hairs.
7. His Shoulders and the Seal of Prophethood
As-Sa’ib ibn Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
“My aunt took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him to pray for me. He wiped my head and prayed for blessings for me. Then I stood behind him and saw the Seal of Prophethood between his shoulders. It looked like the button of a tent.”
(Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
The Seal of Prophethood was a special sign between his shoulders.
8. The Way He Walked
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
